The City of Cheyenne is reminding people to follow the rules of the city's Greenway system.

Among those rules:

-motorized vehicles other than e-bikes and e-scooters are not allowed except for maintenance vehicles. A 15-mile-per-hour speed limit is also in effect.

-stay on the right when using the Greenway and pass on the left. When passing from behind it's a good idea to alert people, either verbally or with a bike bell.

-bikes and scooters should yield to pedestrians, and everyone should yield to people with disabilities.

-dogs need to be on a leash. Clean up after your pet's waste.

-make sure motorists see you before you enter traffic. Just blindly walking into traffic is dangerous.

- riding on the Greenway at night, you need to use lights.

-be aware of possible flooding in underpass areas.
