A 44-year-old Cheyenne transient is facing felony charges following a domestic incident.

According to arrest records, a Laramie County Sheriff's deputy was dispatched to a domestic incident shortly before 8 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 21, and gained probable cause to arrest Angel Elisabeth King.

Deputies contacted King, Mirandized her, and interviewed her, after which she was told she was under arrest.

King then reportedly had a "seizure" and was taken by ambulance to Cheyenne Regional Medical Center, where medical personnel advised deputies that King was okay and there was nothing wrong with her.

King Charged With 2 Felonies, 1 Misdemeanor

King was then booked into the Laramie County Detention Center and later charged with intentional abuse of a vulnerable adult, a felony punishable by up to 10 years in prison, up to a $10,000 fine, or both, and registration of the offender's name on the central registry; unlawful entry into an occupied structure - attempts to commit or commits battery or domestic battery, a felony punishable by up to 10 years in prison; and interference with a peace officer - no injury, a misdemeanor.

King made her initial appearance in Laramie County Circuit Court on Tuesday, Sept. 24, during which her bond was set at $7,500 cash and her preliminary hearing was scheduled for Friday, Oct. 4 at 9:45 a.m.

King Served With Felony Warrant

On Wednesday, Sept. 25, King, while in jail, was served with a felony warrant out of Laramie County District Court for failure to comply with an original charge of failure to register as a sex offender.

Judge Steven K. Sharpe signed the warrant on Tuesday, Sept. 24.

According to the Wyoming Sex Offender Registry, King was convicted of sexual exploitation of a child on March 6, 2017.
