Deputies Find Stolen RV, Chase Ensues

The following day, deputies located the Winnebago near the intersection of Horse Creek Road and Road 110, northwest of Cheyenne.

They put a spike strip under one of the motorhome’s tires and attempted to contact the suspect, later identified as Ryan Roc Jenkins, but Jenkins drove off, causing the tire to deflate.

Deputies pursued Jenkins east on Horse Creek Road, and as he passed over Interstate 25, Wyoming Highway Patrol troopers were able to spike multiple other tires on the motorhome.

Sparks Fly

After the tires disintegrated, Jenkins reportedly continued to drive through several traffic control devices on just the sparking wheels, going east on Iron Mountain Road, south on Whitney Road, west on East Pershing Boulevard, and west on East Lincolnway, before eventually going off the road at Cowboy Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram at 1121 E. Lincolnway.
