Cheyenne police are asking for the public's help in identifying the group of teenagers responsible for last month's lockdown at Frontier Mall.

According to Public Information Officer Alex Farkas, police were called to the mall at 2:25 p.m. on Jan. 20 after it was reported that a group of teenagers wearing black clothes had caused a disturbance.

Farkas says an employee had reportedly observed the teens climbing on playground equipment and when he asked them to leave, one of the teens punched him and took his glasses.

When the group was asked to leave again, a teen male displayed a gun and made verbal threats.

The teens then took off on foot.

Police in a Facebook post on Thursday afternoon released recently obtained images from surveillance video and are asking anyone with information to contact the Detective Bureau at 307-637-6513.
