According to a booking sheet, police were called to the Days Inn by Wyndham at 2360 W. Lincolnway at 9:09 a.m. after a hotel employee investigating a fire alarm activation in room 232 got no answer at the door, opened the door, and observed dissipating smoke in the room and an unresponsive man lying on the bed.
Police say when they entered the room, they saw a syringe containing a dark-colored liquid on the nightstand, a baggie containing 79.5 grams of methamphetamine and a small clear container with a purple lid containing 3.41 grams of heroin on the desk, and a small baggie containing less than 3 ounces of marijuana lying on the bed by the window.
After yelling at the man and tapping on his left foot, police say the man opened his eyes and identified himself as Ryan Kelp but later told them his name was Robert Allen Yetsick II.
When police ran Yetsick's name, they discovered he had a misdemeanor and felony warrant out of Laramie County and a felony warrant out of Weld County, Colorado.
