
1 Killed, 1 Injured in Head-on Collision on I-25 Near Cheyenne
One driver was killed and another injured in a head-on collision on Interstate 25 north of Cheyenne late Monday night, the Wyoming Highway Patrol says.
The crash happened around 10:51 p.m. at milepost 37, two miles south of the Little Bear Community exit.

SUV Collides With Semi
According to a fatality crash summary, 41-year-old Wyoming resident Lena Rimson was behind the wheel of a southbound Ford Explorer when she drifted to the left, crossed the median, entered the northbound lanes, and collided head-on with a northbound Freightliner.
The collision left Rimson, who was wearing her seat belt, dead and the trucker injured.
Driver Fatigue Possibly to Blame
The summary lists driver fatigue/asleep as a possible contributing factor.
Rimson is the 25th reported person to die on Wyoming's highways this year. Of those fatalities, four have occurred in Laramie County.
