47-Year-Old Cheyenne Man Arrested On Felony Property Destruction Charges
A 47-year-old Cheyenne man is facing felony property destruction charges after allegedly being caught on video slashing the tires of over 20 cars.
That's according to a post on the Cheyenne Police Department Facebook page.
German Ramirez Jimenez.was arrested after police posted a video of someone slashing tires in the area of the 500 block of DeSmet Drive.
Video On Facebook Led To Arrest
Police say the video led to Jimenez being arrested:
"The suspect was identified as 47 year old, German Ramirez Jimenez. He was arrested and booked into the Laramie County Jail this afternoon for felony property destruction.
Thank you to all who provided tips!"
Wyoming law defines felony property destruction this way:
"A person is guilty of property destruction and defacement if he knowingly defaces, injures or destroys property of another without the owner's consent."
The penalty under Wyoming law is up to 10 years in prison, a $10,000 fine, or both.
