Fort Collins Police: Girl Victim Of Sex Offender Kidnapping Freed
Fort Collins Police say they recently rescued a juvenile female kidnapping victim who was forced to work for a Fort Collins snow removal company after being abducted by a sex offender from Missouri in December.
That's according to a post on the Fort Collins Police Services Facebook page.
According to the post, the local investigation got underway on Aril 18 when the Fort Collins Police Cyber Crimes Unit, which specializes in child exploitation cases, got a tip from a Missouri cybercrimes detective that a juvenile who had been kidnapped in December of 2024 might be in Fort Collins.

Police investigators developed information that the victim might at a home in the 800 block of Warren Landing. With the help of the Fort Collins Swat Team was served at the home. A man who was there, 44-year-old Maximilian Bondrescu denied that a juvenile was in the home. But a search of the home turned up the victim.
Bondrescu is a registered sex offender.
Victim Says She Was Forced To Work Removing Snow
Police say Bondrescu rented a car to drive to Missouri last year, where he met the girl and drove her to Colorado. The victim told police that she was held against her will, but that Bondrescu would sometimes take her out and make her work for his snow removal company, FoCo Sno GO.
While working for the company she was forced to wear a mask to hide her identity and age.
Police are asking anyone who have used that company to contact Detective David Guy at (970) 416 2026.
Police say Bondrescu was booked into the Larimer County Jail on the following charges:
