
City Of Laramie Removes 13,000 Pounds Of Trash From Homeless Camp
The City of Laramie says several agencies cooperated to removed over 13,000 pounds of trash and debris from an abandoned homeless encampment late last year. That's according to a post of the City of Laramie Facebook page.
According to the post, the camp was located on city owned property in northwest Laramie near the truck stops.
Several Organizations Helped With Cleanup
According to the release "Over the course of the next month, several departments in the City, including Parks and Rec, Fire, Police, Community and Economic Development, Public Works, and the City Manager's Office - in collaboration with Laramie Lawnery - pulled together to clean up the area. In total, 13,020 pounds of trash and debris were removed from the site."
