Online Poll: What New Business Would You Like To See In Cheyenne?
We recently asked people on Facebook what new businesses they would like to see in Cheyenne in 2025.
We specified that we would take the top responses for an online poll. Well over 300 people responded.
Here were the most common answers, which we included in our poll:
Golden Corral. Bills itself as ''The Endless Buffet" and ''America's Number One Buffet Restaurant." This was the single most common response. A lot of other folks simply said ''a buffet."
Aldi. A supermarket chain that says it offers ''Quality Food at Everyday Low Prices." Popular response among those commenting on our Facebook posts. A lot of others said Cheyenne needs "another grocery store" or at least a grocery store in parts of town that don't have one.
Costco. Says it has ''Buzzer Beater Savings" and offers wholesale prices. There is a Costco in Fort Collins, and some Cheyenne residents would like to have one here, judging from the responses on Facebook.
Raising Cane's Says it has Hand-Dipped & Breaded Chicken Cooked-To-Order, Every Time. Cane's Sauce Made Daily.
Popeyes ''Mouth-watering crunch and juicy fried chicken bursting with Louisiana flavor. Explore our menu, offers, and earn rewards on delivery or digital orders.'' Americans love their fried chicken, and clearly Cheyenne residents are no exception.
''Something for Kids." Which is pretty open ended, but it generated a ton of responses so we included it in our poll.
It's worth mentioning that ' a city rec center" got some mentions as well. Since that technically is not a business as such, we didn't include it in the poll. Supporters may want to lobby local office holders to get it on the next sixth-penny ballot.
