It looks like another blast of winter weather is headed to southeast Wyoming and the Nebraska Panhandle this weekend and early next week.

That's according to the Cheyenne Office of the National Weather Service, which posted this statement and graphic this morning [January 25]:

''Headed into late this week, high winds will be possible for wind-prone locations across southeast Wyoming while gusty winds will spread into the Nebraska Panhandle. Light snowfall will be possible Thursday and Friday with better chances of accumulating snowfall arriving Saturday and continuing on and off through Monday. Heaviest snowfall is expected in the Sierra Madre and Snowy Mountains. Additionally, there looks to be another arctic plunge across southeast Wyoming and the Nebraska Panhandle late this weekend into early next week. High temperatures early next week may struggle to get out of the single digits. Stay tuned for the latest updates!"
