Southeast Wyoming Weather: Wind, Rain, Snow Forecast
The Cheyenne Office of the National Weather Service forecasts an extremely windy day today for southeast Wyoming, followed by rain, snow, and generally unsettled weather through Friday.
But the weather service says things should start to warm up over the weekend.
High wind warnings and watches are in effect for many areas today:
Here's a look at the weather forecast for southeast Wyoming and Nebraska Panhandle for the remainder of the week into Saturday. Tuesday looks mainly dry behind a cold front that is expected to move through tonight. Northwesterly winds could be quite strong for the wind prone areas of southeast Wyoming, where we do have High Wind Warnings in effect through 6PM Tuesday. Elsewhere, breezy northwest winds are expected. Next chance for rain Wednesday as the next in a series of cold fronts move through the area. Expect morning rain and afternoon showers/thunderstorms across most areas Wednesday. It will be cold enough behind this front to produce snow across our western zones Thursday, with showers and thunderstorms east. One last day of showers and thunderstorms possible Friday, before drier weather returns for next weekend. Stay tuned!
