While southeast Wyoming residents can expect a fairly nice but windy weekend, winter weather may return early next week.

Cheyenne-based meteorologist Don Day Jr. says that the storm may not drop a lot of snow, but it could lead to ice-covered roads and poor travel conditions.

Day is the founder and president of Dayweather Inc. in Cheyenne.

Day gave us this statement this morning:

'Yeah, cold front with some snow Monday night/Tuesday then a possible larger storm (key word, possible, pretty far out) around 3/4 to 3/6.'"
The Cheyenne Office of the National Weather Service posted the following on its website:

Historic Wyoming Hotels

Wyoming's once wild west also incorporated a little luxury. Several fine hotels dotted the state, along trade routes and railroad lines. They have rich histories, and of course, ghost legends.
