A saddle bronc rider and a bareback rider from Wyoming placed fifth and sixth in their respective events in the fifth go-round of the National Finals Rodeo in Las Vegas on Tuesday.

Wyoming Riders Place at National Finals Rodeo

Bareback rider Cole Reiner of Buffalo took fifth place in the bareback riding competition with a score of 87 points, good for $6,438 points. Reiner is in third place in the aggregate standings with a score of 424.5 points.

Meanwhile, saddle bronc rider Brody Cress of Hillsdale took sixth place in that event, also netting a score of 87 points. For his efforts, Cress won $4,953. He is second in the aggregate standings with 429 points.

The third Wyoming competitor in Las Vegas, saddle Tanner Butner of Daniel scored 86 points on Tuesday. He is third in the aggregate, with a total score of 424.5 points.
