John Wayne’s Grandson Joins Laramie Peak Poker Run [VIDEO]
John T. Wayne the American Civil War author is the grandson of John Wayne (the actor) though he had no idea the first 54 years of his life. Growing up he attended schools all over the state of Missouri, where he learned the true history of the US Civil War. John is a chip off the old block, believing in God, individual responsibility and the idea of a free America.
Author John T. Wayne will join the Laramie Peak Poker Run to raise money for the local fire house.
For the 10th year running the Laramie Peak Volunteer Fired Department will be raising money to keep their fire hall open and up to date.
Here is your chance to help them raise that money all the while having a roaring good time on some of Wyoming's toughest back roads.
Meals will be served at the Laramie Peak Fire hall. The meal in included with the entry fee.
Check in time is from 9am to 11am. Saturday, May 25th at 1836 Cottonwood Park Rd. Wheatland, Wy, 82201.
It's $40 to enter per poker hand. Multiple Hands can be purchased. A meal will be included.
Cash Prizes will be awarded.
Any vehicle that can take the worst of Wyoming's back roads then you can enter.
