Saturday, September 22nd, the Historic Preservation Board is giving tours of six historic buildings in Cheyenne.

The theme for this years tour is fraternal organizations and, a look inside a few historic buildings.  Residents will take a walk through the Masonic Temple, Knights of Pythias, Elks Lodge, and the Eagles Lodge.  Also, walking through St. Mary's Cathedral and a tour of the Plains Hotel basement, where it is stuffed with western history.

The tour will cost $20 per person and the money goes back to preserving historical landmarks around town.  There are several places you can purchase tickets, the Corner Gas Station on Snyder and Pershing or the Governor's Historic Mansion.
