You almost don't notice the moose at first, within the smoldering forest. Then, he appears; standing majestic against the devastation.

South Metro Fire Rescue, out of the Denver area, is helping to work the Cameron Peak Fire. On October 3, 2020, they posted this photo on Twitter, captured by one of their firefighters.
