All Cheyenne, Laramie County Offices Closed [UPDATED]

UPDATE: All city of Cheyenne and Laramie County offices will be closed today due to winter weather.

The City of Cheyenne and Laramie County have jointly issued the following statement:

"The Laramie County Commissioners and the Mayor of Cheyenne have implemented a LEVEL 2 closure for all employees residing in Area 2 & Area 3. 

Due to unsafe road conditions and/or extreme weather conditions in area 2 & area 3, all City of Cheyenne and Laramie County non-essential employees living in both areas should consider staying or traveling home to shelter the severe weather if they feel the conditions may become unsafe for later travel. Employees affected by this closure should contact their supervisor. Employees not affected are expected to report to work for normal business hours."
