Nearly 1,900 Laramie County Residents Have Voted Early

Even though the Aug. 21 primary is still three weeks away, nearly 1,900 Laramie County voters have already cast their ballots.

Laramie County Clerk Debra Lee says as of yesterday (Monday) more than 1,300 residents had voted in the atrium of the Laramie County Governmental Complex and 560 had returned their absentee ballots.

"As expected, the number of voters slowed during Frontier Days, but they are now picking up," said Lee. "On Monday (July 30), the clerk’s office served 137 voters, our highest number to date for this election."

​Voters can cast their ballots in the atrium between 8:30 a.m. and 4:45 p.m. Monday through Friday or request an absentee ballot by calling (307) 633-4242 or emailing election@laramiecountyclerk.com.

Early voting ends Aug. 20 and absentee ballots must be returned to the clerk’s office by 7 p.m. on Aug. 21.
