Cheyenne Fire and Rescue is investigating a blaze that broke out in a four-unit apartment building late Sunday afternoon.

Prevention Division Lieutenant Steve Zimmerman says firefighters were called to the 4500 block of Parkview Drive shortly before 6 p.m. and had the fire under control in about 15 minutes.

Zimmerman says the building didn't have working smoke alarms, but all of the occupants were able to get out safely.

The fire caused an estimated $150,000 worth of damage.

The American Red Cross provided assistance to those occupants who were displaced by the fire.
