Only In Wyoming: Town Bar Across The Street From Elementary School
The teachers at Rozet Elementary School don't need to travel far to unwind after work. The town bar is right across the street.
Rozet is an unincorporated community in northeast Wyoming with a population of 1,049. Located 15 miles east of Gillette on US Highway 51, the elementary school serves 350 students from rural Cambell County. And directly across from the school on Jack Smith Road, the Rozet Bar serves thirsty travellers.
A quarter-mile down the street, you'll find another bar. Bryan's Place is an "adult establishment" that caters to oil workers in the area.
If you're ever driving east on Interstate 90, take a detour on US Highway 51 and visit one of the only places where you can drop the kids off at school, then walk across the street and belly up to the bar.
