UPDATE: Larimer County Sheriff's Office has reported capturing Trevor George at a Schrader's Gas Station. Authorities eventually arrested and transported the suspect to the Weld County Sheriff's Office.

Weld County Sheriff’s Office is looking for a 32-year-old Fort Collins man who is a person of interest in an early Friday (Oct. 30) morning homicide near Windsor.

The incident occurred around 1 a.m. in the 7900 block of Weld 62, also known as Crossroads Blvd. One person was reported as being shot and killed — the deceased person is not being identified until next of kin can be notified.

Authorities are looking for Trevor George, a white man between 6 feet and 6-foot-3 weighing about 200 pounds, to be questioned about the incident.

A press release on the incident says officials believe George is on foot and armed with a handgun. He was last seen wearing a black face mask and a Carhartt-style jacket. Authorities ask the public to not pick up any hitchhikers in Northern Colorado. and to not approach George if spotted.

Anyone with information about his whereabouts is asked to call 911.

Weld County Sheriff's Office is also asking the public for any security camera footage from residences near the scene, particularly from homeowners residing on Crossroads Boulevard between Weld 15 and Colo. 257. Anyone who thinks they might have video footage of a suspect fleeing the scene is asked to call Weld County Non-Emergency Dispatch at 970-356-4000.
