Peyton Passes On Papa’s Pizza With Impeccable Timing
Peyton Manning just sold his stake in 31 Denver area franchises on February 26th, just two days before Papa John’s and the NFL parted ways. GREAT TIMING!
Pizza Hut was happy to move right in and become the official pizza of the league.
Peyton Manning had purchased 21 Papa John’s Pizza outlets in Denver back in 2012, just two weeks before Colorado legalized marijuana. Excellent timing.
Manning retired from the NFL in 2012 after winning Super Bowl 50. Now he’s retiring from Papa’s pizza with, Déjà vu, an amazing coincidence in timing, again.
Peyton will stay on as Papa John’s celebrity spokesperson and it looks like the new owner will rehire all employees.
What’s next for Manning? Possibly a TV analyst at $10 Million a year...
