Kiss and Def Leppard are joining forces for their upcoming summer tour, and now looking for 2 veterans who’ve served our country to rock with them as their roadies!

Kiss recently made their way onto the Today Show, and talked with Matt Lauer about their upcoming tour with Def Leppard. They’re looking for two veterans to hit the road with them as their roadies on their “2014 Heroes Tour."  This is part of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation and Capitol One’s campaign “Hiring 500,000 Heroes.”

Paul Jordan, who’s an Army veteran and a major fan of KISS, was chosen as their roadie last year, going on the road to 44 cities to help set up and tear down their equipment after each show.  He told Matt Lauer, “I know now that life exists after military service. You just have to find something that you’re passionate about and go get it.  There’s a world of opportunity out there.

KISS’ lead vocalist/guitarist Paul Stanley said, “We should all jump at any opportunity to provide any assistance needed by our warriors.  Heroes deserve jobs!” Def Leppard lead singer Joe Elliott said “Having our own wounded warrior in Rick Allen, we've always had a close tie with the military, to carry on and further our contribution by giving a little back and helping fulfill a dream or to, we’re more than happy to show our support…”

NBC News and the U.S. Chamber of Commerce are the forces behind “Hiring Our Heroes,” with the aim of getting veterans back into the workforce.

Veterans who want to live out the dream of being a roadie for the upcoming KISS and Def Leppard tour can click here to get entered.  Deadline for all applications is Friday May 9th at 11:59 p.m. (Eastern.)
