A couple of out-of-state residents may want to spring for a hotel room next time they take a road trip to Rock Springs and decide to catch up on their sleep.

According to a release from the Rock Springs Police Department, officers were called to the Baymont Inn on Saturday on a report of a pair of people sleeping in a car. The caller told police there was what looked like a meth pipe and a torch sitting in the console between the two sleepyheads.

When officers arrived on the scene, they identified the occupants of the vehicle as  26-year-old Jessica Ventuinen of Modesto, Calif. and 20-year-old Dante Braziel of Colorado Springs, Colo. Police say further investigation turned up felony amounts of methamphetamine in Ventuinen's purse, which she admitted was hers.

Felony amounts of marijuana were found in the part of the car where Braziel had been sleeping. Ventuinen has been charged with Felony Possession of Methamphetamine, while Braziel is facing Felony Possession of Marijuana charges.

Both were booked into the Sweetwater County Detention Center pending initial court appearances.
