Snow Is In The Forecast For Cheyenne – Are You Ready For The First Snow Fall?
This is probably not the moment that we've been waiting for. The four letter word that we dread is in the forecast for the Capital City - SNOW! As we are still enjoying the fall weather, we're probably not thinking about preparations for the first snow. Today on the Top 5 at 7:45, I'll highlight some things to think about as we prepare for the (potential) first snow in Cheyenne.
- Have Your Battery Checked - Nothing like a battery that doesn't perform in the dead of winter.
- Get Your Brakes Checked - Especially if you haven't had them checked in the past 6 months or so. At least go have them looked at.
- Service Your Snow Blower - Unless you love shoveling heavy wet snow for your daily workout, go have that blower checked out and serviced, if need be.
- Make Sure Your Car Has A Window Scrapper - Using your arm and hands is a grueling experience. As a matter of fact, I down right hate it. How many times have I gone to the car and the scrapper was no where to be found?? Not this year baby!
- Ensure You Gas Gauge Reads Above 1/2 A Tank - According to experts, it's not good to let your gas gauge get below 1/4, but 1/2 is a safe zone to avoid freezing in the gas lines and unwanted condensation.
