As if 30-plus inches of white concrete wasn't enough, southeast Wyoming could see more snow Sunday through early Monday.

The National Weather Service in Cheyenne issued the following statement Wednesday afternoon:

Some of you (us included) are probably ready to put that shovel away for good this season, but afraid mother nature has intentions to keep it at the ready. We are monitoring for a chance of yet another round of snowfall possible late this weekend. Sunday through early Monday will see increased snowfall potential for the southern mountains and high plains portions of southeastern Wyoming before spreading further into the panhandle later in the day and into Monday afternoon and Tuesday morning. Potential for Cheyenne area to see over quarter-inch liquid in snowfall again for some more snowfall accumulation. Stay tuned as the forecast details come together.
