Spring Is Almost Here But Road Repairs Start Today

As predictably as springing forward to Daylight savings time, it is also time to be aware of road repair projects getting going today in and around Cheyenne.Here is a quick run down of projects starting today in Cheyenne;

A section of Walterscheid Blvd. will be closed starting today.  Work begins on  the installation of a new Green-way tunnel under the road, weather permitting.  Waltersheid Blvd. will be closed between West Jefferson Road and Allison Road, for at least 3 weeks.  Detours will be posted.

Work continues on the East Pershing Blvd Project (Phase 1) with new curb and gutter being installed on the south side of East Pershing Blvd.  There are lane restrictions for eastbound traffic, just east of Seymour Avenue.

Concrete work begins next week on 3 streets;

Frontier Mall Drive between Prairie Avenue and Dell Range Blvd.

Sheridan Avenue between Mountain Road and Ridge Road.

Morrie Avenue, north of East Lincolnway

Motorists are reminded to obey all traffic laws and signage in construction zones.
