2021 Beartrap Summer Festival

The Louisiana born axeman and songsmith, Kenny Wayne Shepherd, brought his magical mix of blues and rock to Beartrap Meadow on Sunday afternoon.

After having to cancel the 2020 Beartrap Summer Festival due to Covid, it is clear that folks are ready to have fun in the meadow.

It has now been two years since we have attended Beartrap, so I thought it was the perfect time to share a list of what you need to bring to Beartrap.

We are sad to announce that Bruce Hornsby & the Noisemakers will be unable to perform the 2021 Beartrap Summer Festival due to an unexpected health emergency.

The Beartrap Summer Festival marks 25 years+ of music on the mountain this summer with everything that’s kept crowds growing for a quarter-century: sunshine, mountain air, vendors, food and drink … and a great roster of musicians for this milestone celebration, August 7 and 8 in Beartrap Meadow on Casper Mountain.
