A Cheyenne natural resources attorney, Hageman will now enter Congress among freshmen legislators who typically must jostle for desired committee assignments.

Results are not official until certified by the canvassing board on Friday, November 11 at 2 p.m.

Kozak will square off against independent candidate Jeff Barnes and Democrat Jess Fresquez on November 8.

City council races are non-partisan under Wyoming law, meaning candidates do not formally affiliate with either party.

Barnes will face one of three Republican candidates, Boyd Wrede, Brian Kozak, or Don Hollingshead in November. Democrat Jess Fresquez is also on the ballot for Laramie County Sheriff.
