K-9 Pavel and his handler Officer Pat Johnston won the award for top-scoring overall K-9 team and the award for top-scoring narcotics K-9 team.

Sixteen police K-9 teams from across Wyoming were sniffing around Cheyenne last week as part of their annual certification through the Wyoming Police Service Dog Association.

This was done during the meeting on January 20.
