41.5 million people hitting the roads for Memorial Day weekend, the need for blood donations goes up just before the holiday due to the shelf life of blood.

The need for blood is greater in the winter months, but donations are way down. So now a clever promotion lets you give a pint and get a pint.

Those wishing to donate must be at least 16, weigh a minimum of 110 pounds and be in good health.
