The Cheyenne Frontier Days had its unofficial 2017 kickoff Sunday morning with its traditional cattle drive.

The cattle drive is considered the kickoff of CFD.

This year's drive will include 550 Corriente Steers.

The Cheyenne Frontier Days 2016 Cattle Drive is scheduled for Sunday, July 17 at about 7:15 a.m.

Cheyenne Frontier Days will drive nearly 550 head of Corriente steers through town to Frontier Park.

The annual cattle drive to usher in Cheyenne Frontier Days starts about 7:45 a.m., July 15, so we'll play some music to watch it by on 'Your Sunday Brunch.'
