The Day of Giving grew out of founder Greta Morrow's experiences as a cancer patient many years ago.

Event founder Greta Morrow wrote ''It was such a good day! ... the donors kept driving up and dropping off donations all day!'

Officials with the 2022 Cheyenne Day of Giving are calling this year's event a success.

It will be a drive-thru event on May 14 from 8:00 AM until 4:00 PM at the Kiwanis Community House In Lions Park.

The annual Cheyenne Day of Giving, which supports those in great need within the community, has been postponed this year due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

As you shop just pick up a few extra items and drop them in the bin on he way out of the door.

Every community does what it can to take care of those in need. But Cheyenne takes a step above and beyond each year for it's Day Of Giving on May 10, 2019, at the Cheyenne Community House.
