The Lincoln Theater has been a Cheyenne institution for nearly 90 years. Since opening in 1929, the legendary venue has hosted more than two million people, including a future President and many of Hollywood's biggest stars.

March 18, 2003, a blizzard rolled across the Front Range, dumping 18 inches of snow in 24 hours. It remains the snowiest single day in Cheyenne history.

Constructed in 1887, the Atlas Building originally housed a candy shop. It was later expanded and repurposed with a stage and 404 seats and reopened as the Atlas Theatre on Feb. 16, 1908.

A long list of famous politicians, movie stars and musicians have visited the Hitching Post over the years, including fomer Presidents Ronald Reagan, John F. Kennedy, Dwight Eisenhower and Harry Truman.
