Are you ready for some...hockey? The Cheyenne Stampede host their Wyoming junior hockey rivals, the Casper Coyotes, at 7:35 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, February 20 and 21, at the Cheyenne Ice and Events Center.

Have you ever been to a Cheyenne Stampede hockey game? The puck drops at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, December 13, at the Cheyenne Ice & Events Center as the Cheyenne Stampede host the Colorado Evolution.

The Cheyenne Stampede junior hockey team will have a new head coach next year. According to Junior Hockey.com, Eric Ballard takes over immediately for Gary 'Gilly' Gill, who led the team to the playoffs in his one year as head coach during the 2013-2014 season.

Suddenly, the two lunged at each other but instead of punches, they hugged. Then Felton pulled a beer out of his shorts and the next thing you know, he’s suspended, from the game, the playoffs and possibly, for a lifetime.

With the Broncos set to play in their first Super Bowl in 15 years on Sunday, it’s easy to understand why regional sports fans will be bleeding blue and orange over the next week. But win or lose on Superbowl Sunday, it will be the last NFL football game for more than six months. But that’s an awful lot of time to kill for diehard sports fans.
