The number of COVID-19 cases in Laramie County School District 1 continues to surge.

Laramie County School District 1 will no longer be sending out weekly press releases regarding positive COVID-19 cases, the district said Friday.

Laramie County School District 1 on Friday reported that 29 students and five staff members have tested positive for COVID-19 in the past week.

One week after Laramie County School District 1 issued a mask mandate, the district's COVID-19 numbers remain relatively unchanged.
