old frontier town

It seems that any town that was a town in the old west had a blacksmith. Old Frontier Town, Cheyenne has one too, and we were able to catch up with him this week.

Just outside Portal 11 of Frontier Park lies the Old Frontier Town. If you weren't headed toward the northern end of the grounds, then you'd likely miss it. But with the authentic western wares, games and petting zoo for children, and a chance to meet folks from the chuck wagons, you'll want to make a stop.

Sure, once inside the Cheyenne Frontier Days gates, you'll be greeted with Dodge Ram  trucks, the aroma of sizzling sausages and grilled peppers wafting from a nearby vendor, and cowboy gear---hats, boots, skirts, dresses. But did you overlook the fun stuff that's right outside the gates?
