The pilot of a plane that crashed southwest of Laramie Wednesday morning was able to walk away with only minor cuts, the Albany County Sheriff's Office says.

He was the youngest pilot to do it, solo. Now he has a bigger, faster plane.

He has just a couple of months to train for the races.
