Everyone knows that Wyoming is the least populated state in the United States. However, even with that as a known fact, it's tough to even fathom just how small the smallest towns in Wyoming really are. The latest census data has been released and you won't believe just how tiny they really are.

According to U.S. Census figures released on Thursday (August 12th), Wyoming remains the least populated state in the country. Not only that, but aside from just a few others, it was also one of the slowest growing states in population overall from 2010 to 2020.

The population data in Wyoming for 2019 has been released for cities and towns. Cheyenne's population grew by 0.6 percent while the state had an overall 0.2 percent increase, which comes after three consecutive years of state population decline.

It's no surprise that Wyoming loves our craft beers and in recent years we have really upped our game as far as local breweries go. So I'm not in the least bit surprised to see that we made the list for one of the least populated states with the most breweries according to Matador Network.

Cheyenne added 370 new residents between July 2017 to July 2018, which was the most for any city/town in the state.
