Slayer

Sepultura are hard at work on their new album and guitarist Andreas Kisser revealed through his blog studio diary that former Slayer drummer Dave Lombardo will be a guest on their forthcoming record.

Today, June 6, is one to celebrate in the metal community. Back on 6/6/06 the first International Day of Slayer was celebrated, and now, the heavy metal holiday rings in its seventh year anniversary and continues to be a cause for metal fans to unite.

For the first time since the passing of guitarist Jeff Hanneman last month, Slayer have played a live show. After an emotional memorial celebration a couple of weeks ago in honor of their fallen bandmate, Slayer returned to the road, playing at the Impact Festival last night (June 4) in Warsaw, Poland.
