WGFD and Trouts Unlimited are offering a hands-on trout raising classroom program.

“If we want to inspire the next generation of conservationists, we must start by teaching them about Wyoming's wildlife and wild places at a young age. There’s no better place to do this than in our state’s schools and classrooms” said Game and Fish Director Brian Nesvik.

Fishing in Yellowstone Lake will continue to be permitted.

The Wyoming Game and Fish Department recently stocked Lake Absarraca with 1,881 Yellowstone cutthroat trout and 1,148 Fall River rainbow trout.
