After graduating from the University of Wyoming in 1979, Legerski returned to his alma mater and began his coaching career at Rock Springs High School. 40 years later, he will be remembered among the best coaches in the history of the Cowboy State.

Josh Allen, Bryce Meredith, Cowgirls Basketball, a Miracle In the Snow, and a dramatic overtime upset at the Dome of Doom highlighted another good year for Pokes fans.

At an elevation of 7,220 feet, the "Double A" is the highest Division I basketball court in the country. That advantage has helped the Pokes win nearly 75 percent of their home games.
