The Albany County School Board unanimously approved girls fastpitch softball this week, making Laramie High School the eighth school in Wyoming to add the sport. Central, East, and South High Schools are expected to join them soon.
"Yelling, screaming and berating the officials humiliates your child, annoys those sitting around you, embarrasses your child’s school and is the primary reason Wyoming has an alarming shortage of high school officials," Ron Laird wrote in an editorial.
