Take The Plunge In Sloan’s Lake To Support E.O.D. Warriors
Technical Sergeant Matthew Schwartz was an explosive ordinance disposal (EOD) technician stationed at F.E. Warren Air Force Base in Cheyenne, Wyoming. On January 5, 2012, he was a team leader in known hostile southern Afghanistan territory and a device targeting Sergeant Schwartz’s vehicle detonated. The subsequent explosion left Sergeant Schwartz mortally wounded.
Matthew Schwartz is survived by his wife Jennifer; daughters Aliza, Emily and Morgan.
Saturday, January 21, 2017, from 1 – 5 pm, The 5th Annual Schwartz Memorial Plunge happens at Sloan’s Lake in Lions Park. All funds raised go to support E.O.D. Warrior s and their families.
