The Best Band From Wyoming Is…. envelope please..
In an article sure to cause controversy (or not), the folks at Thrilllist have come up with the best bands from every state. The rules being 1. Bands, not artists. 2. The band must be from that state, not relocated to a big city after getting successful. 3. Must be post World War II. They also considered historical relevance
For Wyoming, they chose:
The Lillingtons
" After their breakup in 2001, vocalist and guitar player Kody Templeman went on to play with Wyoming’s other notable pop-punk band, Teenage Bottlerocket. It’s a small scene out west.”
Their official video for “Rubber Room,” comes from their "Project 313" EP out on Red Scare in June of 2017. This was originally premiered by the swell folks at BrooklynVegan (hail seitan). Video done (at gunpoint) by Chris Kent, bless his heart. Starring some dudes (from MakeWar) who somehow snuck into this video and hammed it up."
The Lillingtons have been noted by Thrilllist as the best band from Wyoming, do you agree?
