If you have seen Mt. Rushmore in a photo or postcard, then you know it's amazing. The reported last man alive, who helped to work on the monument, celebrates a birthday.

His name is Don "Nick" Clifford, recalls a time when he and other miners, helped to sculpt one of America's wonders.

The man behind the sculptor, Gutzon Borglum, who had about 400 men, along with some women, helped to bring his dream alive.

Mr. Clifford, only 17 years old at the time, recalls how in 1938, Mr. Borglum and his son, would watch the baseball games that Clifford played in.

Clifford was a veteran baseball player, which attracted the sculptor to him and others like him, when they put their team together to sculpt, what we now know as, Mt. Rushmore.

Many say that if you look at Theodore Roosevelt's image, it looks more like the sculptor than the former president.

Happy Birthday to Don "Nick" Clifford, who has turned 95 years old.
