1939 forever Classic,  The Wizard Of Oz is celebrating its 80th anniversary this year.  In doing so, the movie will be released for three days only in select theaters, according to MovieWeb.

Turner Classic Movies (TMC) and Fathom Events have teamed up to bring The Wizard of Oz back to the big screen on more than 700 screens across the country.  Laramie, Wyoming's Regal Fox Theater 6 was one of the chosen theaters to host the cult classic.  It will be a three-day epic event, January 27th, 29th, and 30th.

The Wizard of Oz will not be the only movie featured in the TMC Big-Screen Classic Series, it will join the likes of My Fair Lady, To Kill a Mockingbird, Ben-Hur, True Grit, Steel Magnolias, Field of Dreams, Glory, Hello, Dolly!, Lawerence of Arabia, The Shawshank Redemption, Alien, The Godfather Part II, and When Harry Met Sally.
