Thanksgiving's a few months away ,but it's never too early to think turkey in helping  Comea House Cheyenne, at the 15th annual Turkey Trot and Gobble Wobble.

The Turkey Trot and Gobble Wobble is a major fundraiser for Cheyenne's Comea Shelter, an emergency shelter for men women and families, who need shelter, a hot meal, along with shower facilities, free clothing and free medical attention at Cheyenne Healthcare for the Homeless, located right next door to the shelter.

Comea Shelter also provide a number of programs for individuals who are trying to get back on their feet, and help those who are in need that are traveling through Cheyenne with food boxes, gas vouchers, bus tokens and bus fares.

This 5K run/walk will have you follow the Cheyenne Greenway along Crow Creek where you'll get a chance to "stretch your legs" with your friends and family, all to support this wonderful organization.

The Gobble Wobble fun run for kids starts at 9 a.m., and the Turkey Trot 5K starts at 9:30 a.m. on November 1st, at Comea House at 1504 Stinson Avenue. (on the corner of West Lincolnway and Stinson Avenue.)

If you can't participate in the event, you can  ALWAYS be a race sponsor, and Comea House Cheyenne is looking for sponsors NOW!  For more information about being a sponsor this year, contact Tim Kingston at 307-638-8885, kingston@rockymtnlaw.com, or Marguerite Herman at 307-638-1468, marguerite.herman@gmail.com.
