"Two draggin', over easy" means the kitchen hasn't cooked the eggs and it's slowing Liz down. Liz is the smiling server who makes you feel at home, calling you by name and keeping your cup of mud topped off while not hovering. Liz exemplifies service done right while reminding me of a romantic side of wait-staff that is slowly disappearing.

There’s a couple of campers (customers who won’t leave) at the deuce (Table for two), and I’m in the weeds ( example: 2 parties of 14 seated at the same time, all wanting separate checks). At the Home Town Diner on West Lincolnway, Hard working Liz does not hold court, but serves,( great eggs, toast and coffee,) while being friendly and efficient. Thanks for reminding me of our pre-fast food American way, Liz.
